Women are still underrepresented in most scientific fields, however, through a dedicated campaign (WOMEN IN SCIENCE WE ADMIRE), ICFO aims to highlight women who are making an important mark on the scientific enterprise through their work and, in doing so, they are helping to expand the presence of women in science. ICFOnians are encouraged to nominate a female scientist who has inspired them and/or who has had a significant impact on science through her discoveries, enthusiasm, support, and/or leadership.
