Thanks to the Sample Archive of the IPCE and its work collecting and studying samples of works of art from the Spanish cultural heritage, the user (Serena Benelli) was able to enrich her knowledge on archiving samples to apply it to the Gallone Archive. The project “DASA – Digital Archives of Samples from Artworks: Cataloguing and Management” was supported by TNA access ARCHLAB, by iperion HS.
Sharing information and knowledge between the two archives contributes not only to mutual enrichment but also to the challenge of common standardisation.
